Score check

Enter your own estimate of your Exam 1 mark out of 40. We estimate the Exam 2 mark out of 80 you would need for each study score, based on past VCAA grade distributions. Treat it as a rough guide, not a prediction. Your study score also depends on your school-assessed coursework.

Questions

When are the 2026 Methods exam solutions released?

We aim to post Exam 1 solutions from about 11:15 am on Thursday 5 November. We aim to post Exam 2 solutions from about 3:00 pm on Friday 6 November. Times are Melbourne time, and they are targets, not promises.

Are these the official VCAA answers?

No. These are unofficial worked solutions, and this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the VCAA. The VCAA marks the exams and publishes its own examiners' report after marking. Where our solutions differ from the VCAA, the VCAA is right.

Is it free?

Yes. Exam 1 solutions, the score check, the practice papers and the quiz are free with no login. Exam 2 solutions are free too: we email you a link that opens them.
